Please pray for our new granddaughter

Andie Elise was born this morning,  early and tiny.
All her vitals and tests are good but she is just 5 pounds 1 ounce
and she has stopped breathing in her sleep 4 times.
She took a helicopter ride from the hospital in southern Oklahoma to the big childrens hospital in Oklahoma City and will be there for awhile.
She is a beautiful little girl,  she has her daddy's blue eyes and long toes.
We are already head over heels in love with her.

in the picture,  that is her momma's hand by Andie's leg.
and momma Sheena's hand are not very big

Please pray that Andie will grow and breath.

  1. Oh Lord, I pray for this little girl who cannot breathe. Father you gave her life and brought her this far. I pray you will breathe life into her little lungs and make her strong. I pray strength and peace for her parents and grandparents. Lord let them all know you are near and that you have little Andie in the palm of your great hand. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

  4. My Spencer was 5.1 when he was born so I know exactly what size she is! But he was 37 weeks and breathing fine. Saying prayers right now. What a little sweetheart she is!

    What a lovely name...Andie...love that!

  5. I will be praying for Andie to grow & thrive. We went through this last year on March 4th when our little Emma was born 6 weeks early, weighing 5lbs 6 ounces. God's blessings to the entire family.

    Smiles,
    Carol

  6. Hi Rhonda,
I have been wondering what you were up to. How early was the baby? I will say some prayers. 5 pounds is a big size for an early baby. Brandy is still waiting. She is getting impatient. I wonder where she gets that from? LOL
Let me know if you need anything.
    Hugs,
    Elizabeth

  9. Rhonda, Our little grandaughter was 1 lb 7oz when she was born 4 years ago. She stayed in the NICU for more than 40 days. She is doing wonderfully now. She has no mental or physical problems...We did pray and pray for her and God Blessed her and gave her complete healing. We will pray for the same thing for you.

Lord, Please let Andie be blessed with life and health and allow her to grow to a happy normal little girl.
We know you are the giver and sustainer of life, and we ask these things in the name of Jesus, who gives us Life eternal by the power of his death and resurrection. Thank You, Amen.

  10. Certainly I will pray. Just to encourage you, my son (age 11) was born 13 weeks early with pneumonia and spent a fair amount of time on a ventilator (about 2 weeks, I believe). He's now a big strapping boy - due to prayers!............Denise

  11. I'm new to your blog and am enjoying it! Prayers for your new granddaughter. Her picture brings back memories to me as my 6yo daughter was born at 32 weeks, nearly 4lbs. She made out fine and is healthy and normal!
